It’s that time of year again! The time when we take our annual family pictures! We always do this in the summer sometime near our anniversary. We used http://www.jessicacrawfordphotography.com again this year and were thrilled with the results! She hasn’t edited any for us yet, so this is just the first draft!

2010- Engagement Pictures

2011- Wedding pictures- first real family pictures!

2012- First anniversary, we look like such babies but we had just bought our first house!

2013-First pictures as a family of 3, Helen Jeanette was only weeks away from making her appearance!

2014- First pictures as a family of 4, although you can’t really tell and we hadn’t officially announced it at this point.

2015- First pictures of our family of 4 where we’re all showing our smiling faces! I love these pictures so much, they’re really the first family pictures we’ve taken where everyone is showing some personality! Helen Jeanette wasn’t in a cooperative mood (hint: she never is when it comes to pictures) but we still got some good ones!

I have been shooting in manual. I thought it was going better then it is, but I just discovered aperture priority mode so I’m going to switch for that for a bit.

The first few weekends are from a leisurely weekend in the mountains. Then there are pictures from Uncle Daniel’s graduation party and then a few playground shots.

My Aunt Gwyneth took these pictures while we were in Texas. The kids had a great time!

There is a good chance I am posting too many pictures from our weekend in the mountains, there will need to be a second post because these pictures are just saturday. We had a great time and Helen Jeanette LOVED the mountain house. Anytime she was inside she was standing out the door asking for “side side”.

We made a fire pit and roasted s’mores, and I hope that will be a something we repeat often and becomes a special memory for the kids. We also had a very successful egg hunt and spent a beautiful weekend outside.

Helen Jeanette (or Chunky McChunkerson) as I have started calling her, had her 18 month appointment today and everything is going great. She’s ahead developmentally on pretty much everything, even speech which I thought might be a little delayed. She has way more words then they look for but very few two word phrases, but evidently they only look for kids to have a couple at this point. I’ve definitely known more developed talkers at her age, but it’s good to know she’s still average/slightly above average. She still has fewer spanish words then english but there doesn’t appear to be any difference in her comprehension in the 2 languages, which is great!

She’s growing like a weed (hence her new nickname) and seems to be putting most of it in her round little tummy.

Weight: 25 lb 2.1 oz (81 percentile)

Head Circumference: 19.29″ (98 percentile)

It’s worth noting that Helen Jeanette had her 1 month appointment early because we were traveling to California. Her appointment was Sept 26th and she wasn’t 1 month until October 8th. Killian had his 1 month 2 days late. Also, the percentiles are from their own sex, so that’s why Helen Jeanette might be smaller but in a higher percentile.

Killian 1 month: Height: 20.87″ (15 percentile) Weight: 10 lb 3.7 oz (56 percentile) Head Circumference:15.35″ (91 percentile)

Helen Jeanette 1 month: Height: 20.47″ (54 percentile) Weight: 9 lb 4.3 oz (77 percentile)
